Small train stop by Richard Vyškovský 1/140 - Albatros 1990
In 1990 a collection of seven railway buildings designed by Richard
Vyškovský was published the 1st time by ALBATROS/Prague under the original title »Stavby do kolejiště«, The collection contains 2 signal boxes, 1 locomotive shed, 1 small station, 2 residential houses (one of them a so-called "small train stop") and 1 large railway station including a »cast iron« platform. All in all these look very nice and attractive. Below you may find some pictures of the assembled »Small train stop«. In 2000 this collection was re-published by ERKOtyp showing clear and crispy printing .... The assembly went straight so I don't think it is necessary to post individual pictures showing the building process ... Again the model received NO upgrades or similar gadgets - coloring the edges was all I did. Enjoy some close-up pictures and four walk-around pictures ... |

This is a beautiful little building, Thomas! It is part of a very attractive set of steam-era railway-related buildings.
You always find (and design) excellent and appealing models of all types, especially those related to railways. Don |

Very European and very pretty. What scale were those built to?

For a small building it's so atmospheric.
