Worms Cathedral-1:300-Schreiber-Bogan

Finished the Cathedral at Worms a few days ago but had some ailments that have slowed me down in posting.

While the cathedral has a rich history dating back to the 1100's, it is arguably most famous for the meeting (Diet) that took place in 1521 where Martin Luther was examined for his position on indulgences (among other things)...resulting in the Protestant Reformation.

Model is of average difficulty and goes together very well.

Dimensions are length 39cm, breadth 17, height 22

Mike, I hope you are feeling better. In you did a magnificent job on a beautiful Cathedral. We visited it on our German trip in 2007. Visit CATHEDRAL QUEST: our quest to experience cathedrals in Europe. Go to Germany07 under our Adventures and then click on Day 7. I have had the model for several years but have not made it yet. I hope to soon – you have inspired me.

Thanks folks...as for the ailments, no more gall bladder but still have a residual problem that should be over in a week or so...according to the doctors.

Vermin_King, George , Fred, and Mike...thank you for the kind words.

Thomas, saw your cathedral quest photos of Worms. Very nice. Always a treat to see the inside of the cathedral!
