FG Models

Advice noted and will purchase same to add to tool kit. Went in a looked at a couple of the models again and will attempt to improve them. I really like the models in the Industry CD and want to build some creditable with them.

Hi All,

I will admit to a few issues with some of the early ones that Chip put out in hand drawn format, but as Don pointed out reinforcing the corners and frame work helps as well as redefining the perimeter with a straight edge or triangle. It also helps if you score the edges before trying to fold them up, an old used up ink pen or a knitting needle works well for that purpose guided by a steel rule.

I will be building a lot more of these and will keep everyone posted on my progress and any problems that might crop up. So far the biggest problem I have had is finding enough time to devote to get to work on them.
