Here is the link to Canon customer service for Creative Park. We can use the power of the Internet. Perhaps someone will listen.

New pictures

It's been a while since I got out the camera rather than the knife.

The main change is the landscape on the back. This was a welcome change from the small pieces. It didn't last long ! I'm now back on the smaller pieces.

For those following along with the instructions ;-) I'm up to page 23 and have just finished the building bits and am about to add a bit more scenery.

Cheers
Mike

It's finnished

I have finally completed the Palace - luckily there aren't quite as many buildings as there are in the photo of the real palace on page 1 !

It has taken just over a month to complete. It was quite an enjoyable build although there are a very large number of small pieces which means a lot of tabs to be glued. This also creates one problem which is that I had to handle the model more than I wanted, the model is upside down and the chances of knocking the building is a constant worry.

I spent a great deal of time rubbing off as many of the dotted lines as was practicable. Overall the fit of parts is excelent, which makes it a pleasure to build.

My only question is the number of pages of parts, I would have hoped that the sheets could have been designed to use fewer pages. There are 45 pages of instructions - I printed these at 70% so I could fit two of their pages onto one of mine this meant that I needed a magnifying glass a few times !

despite the few problems it was a good model and I am very pleased with the outcome. I hope you enjoy the attached photos.

My next model will be a motor cycle, although I'm not quite sure which section I will post the pictures....
Cheers

A nice addition to your collection of sacred buildings, Mike. Very well done so far.

This is an extraordinary model, Mike. And it gives perspectives on the Potala that can't be gained from photos of the original.
