Temple Of Heaven - Canon
I was holding back on building this model because of the detail on the top, between the water drop shaped tip and the support columm, but I managed to make it on the second try (printed the page containing the piece again). Building now the second floor, the processes are kinda repetitive, but easy to follow. Will update with more pictures as I progress.

You did fine on the top, and that’s probably the hardest part. I looked at Canon’s site, and that’s going to be a handsome model.

Everything looks good so far. Those toppers are a bit frustrating. It is difficult to get them to look satisfactory. You did a good job on that one.

Canon's models are not easy to build. You are doing fine, although I would recommend edge colouring.
One complaint about the Temple of Heaven model is the lack of any hints to the interior, which leaves the model more like a blank cylinder, and gives a completely different feeling to the actual structure.

I'm always interested in builds of Canon architecture, so I'll be following this.

Sorry for the delay in the progress. Was struggling with some pieces. For example, the black stripes that goes around the third level/above the roof for the second level, i needed to redo them 3 times, only on the 4th try I managed to get it right. Also, I couldn't manage to glue those parts above the second and first level roofs, so I did a workaround: I cut off the gluing area inside the roofs, them I flipped the tabs for the black stripes outwards and glued them to the bottom of the roofs and it worked perfect! In the meantime, while holding the third level wich has the topper, it was sticking out every time the topper was bumping into my working table, and also was so ugly, mostly because of how dirty it becomes after many tries of assembling mostly because of the stick glue I use, so I did the entire topper again and I was glad that I did because it became way much better than the previous one! After I solved those problems, I managed to finish the main structure and I started building the base. Will post again when I finish everything.

After facing issues with the base pieces that were fixed with some patience, I managed to finish the model, wich final size is approximately W330mm x D250mm x H250. Although most pieces are in a circular shape, I advise that anyone who pretends to build this model to look at the fit of some pieces, because for me some pieces were bigger than the needed length and others were short and I needed to cut a excerpt of the texture from another printed piece to cover the space left. Even after having to redo so many pieces throughout the building process, I satisfied with the result I got. See you in the next build thread.

Considering the circular nature of the temple, a challenge in itself, and the complexity of the build one must congratulate you on both your tenacity in seeing the build through to its finish and the excellence of the build itself. Well done sir.
