Great stuff. I really am enjoying this and you are doing a cracking job - very careful and neat indeed.
Where is it going to live when it is finished?

I hasn't been as long as I expected. File G is complete. No too surprising because I spend a couple of hours a day making models.
Here are a few pictures of the Town Hall. I'll take a break for a few days before I start on the next file. BTW taking a break means making something a little easier and not a building! Cheers Mike |

Take a break. You deserve it.
Certainly is a charming model

The best laid plans....
One of the people I work with has been working very hard for the past year and a bit and "they" decided that a big thank you was in order. As most of the volunteers are still "unemployed" the thanks will mainly be emails. Emails don't last long so I decided to make a box for them - there will be a new thread shortly. This means that my plans for a break never happened. On the other hand I have now completed file H. It's another line of shops and I have connected them to file G. The following pictures are of the front of H and the rears of G. I have also added the paving round the buildings. It's quite a game because none of the buildings line up and all have different shapes. My next file is S only because it's the Synagogue. It looks a lot like the old one in the middle of Prague. More on that some time soon.... Cheers Mike |

Not much to say about the Synagogue - I've glued it to the base next to the buildings from the previous "file". The next step is to add this section to the earlier sections - should be fun ;-)
The synagogue is closely based on the New Old Synagogue in Prague but without the cemetery. In hindsight I should have cut out the blue bits before I made the wall. I added quite a lot of reinforcement inside the wall so it's not possible to change it now ;-( Next episode could be a while - there are at least 5 buildings and an outer wall. Cheers Mike |

I don't care about the blue bits; just keep going!

Another file almost completed - it's surprising how many bits needing a bit of paint show up in the closeup pics ;-(
Only four more files to go! Cheers Mike |

Even with that, this is a handsome collection of models.
