Le Corbusier's Notre Dame du Haut Chapelle - Canon

I've keeping eye on this kit for some time, but I always standed back because of the tiny tabs on some parts. But, as it happens with most kits from Canon, the 100% page size you see on the screen when you open the PDF may trick you about the size of the pieces and you can think that the tiny tabs are way smaller than they really are. When you actually print the pieces you can see the real size and realize that the small tabs aren't too small and are manaegable.

Looking foward to build the roof, as is the coolest roof I've seen so far.

Cheers,

Gregory

I made this model some time back.

I left it on the dining room table and had visitors.

One moved it onto a chair, and another then sat on it!

So it goes..

Didn't bother posting photos during progress because the model itself is an quick one but after 3 days I finished. Isn't perfect as I wanted, but this result is way better than Agra Fort.

Cheers,

Gregory.

Smile Canon-Le Corbusier's Notre Dame du Haut Chappelle and Villa Savoye

Hello everyone, this is my very first post.

I've just finished the Notre Dame du Haut and I also completed the Villa Savoye model about a year ago.

I find the Canon models have very good instructions and give a good final result. For modern buildings and things like spacecraft the Canon 'style' seems quite appropriate but for models of older buildings I prefer the 'hand-drawn' finish of models by other publishers like L'Instant Durable or Shreiber Bogen.

Here are my two Canon models.

Notre Dame du Haut - from one extreme to the other!

A3 blimey! I struggle for display space so I make a lot of postcard models too. This is Notre Dame du Haut from a scan of a Berlinerlüft postcard I made during the first lock down. 😊
