I've been workin' on the railroad

This is my scratch-built HO scale copy of an O-scale kit by Stoney Creek Designs. It will be against the backdrop of my Scots' Landing module, so I modeled no back and minimal sides.

The storefronts come from photos of the Stoney Creek kit. Brick and roof textures are from Clever Models. I redrew the tinshop signs in Photoshop.

A teacher of mine said: ĢIt's difficult to do things simpleģ. Each time I look those buildings, I understand how a just apparently simple model can be done so nicely!

And also very appropriate the signboard "Sheet metal": in CAD software, "sheet metal" is the general name of the module dedicated to sheets working, including unfolding... just replace metal with paper!

It's going to be a fabulous railroad layout. Keep going!

You know, you are putting a lot of pressure on yourself to do the landscaping up to the quality of the buildings

I look forward to being able to (virtually) visit this town and imagine the railroad operations.

Your structures and the concept of your railroad really appeal to me.
