The small two-storey rental houses with external single-loaded corridor securing access to the dwellings
Thanks to multiple manga/anime productions this is perhaps the best recognizable type of the specifically (if not exclusively) Japanese type of a multi-flat apartment buildings. It was a popular, typified, economical construction being erected during the Shōwa period. According to the modern standards they are too small perhaps for the families with children (the're a single room studio apartmens) but they're perfect (and cheap enough) for high school or college students and single young workers. The models are made after TGW-series pdf-files prepared by Tsugawa Hiroyuki. One of them was simply printed "as is" (except the solid ballustrade which was replaced with the railing made of the handrail, knee-rail and posts) while the second was weathered, including older and newer types of air conditioners, various doors and one unused flat with windows covered with shutters. Both buildings have been supplemented with intercoms, electrical boxes and lighting. (#55 & 56)

The more this fascinating project develops, the more I'm thinking that Langweil's model of Prague is in for some serious competition soon, if not already.

Thank you very much for your support! It motivates me strongly to continue!
However if you find some errors or incoherencies, do not hesitate to point them out - it will help me to improve my skills. By the way, the Langweil's Prague is unrivaled! In my opinion, every model or diorama here are unique as a hand made piece of art. I really love to watch your work, all of you, and I often consider your models to be really amazing!

In the meantime: waste disposal site
The collected waste was made of different materials but the bins and the structure was made of paper.

I used to live in Prague - the digitisation of the Langweil model is really nifty.

The small two-storey rental houses with external single-loaded corridor securing access to the dwellings - part 2
The second model of such building by TGW (which I have modified and supplemented with more details as usual) represents the same structural type of the multiflat house but it contains four flats instead of eight. They consist of two rooms and a kitchen with a window, however they are still too small to comprise the full (two-room) bathroom. This type of flats are often rented by the families with children who stay here for a long period, so the building itself has slightly higher standard, with the tiled roof covering the entrance gallery, it has a balcony and a terrace on the garden side, the roofed stairs etc. (#57)

A telecommunication company office
The model of a small corner building was originally designed in N-gauge by Jun Takekawa (paperstructures.jimdofree.com). This time I added only few external details (an electrical box, four hvac units, few vending machines, signboards and waste bins) but the basic project was unaltered. (#58)
