Tiny castle

I've just finished the Tiny Castle, which came from The Wood Engraver's site. (www.thewoodengraver.com)

It's tiny, but there's nothing to scale it by. Try a clothes peg.

but wait..... it's shrinking.......

and shrinking even more.........

OK - hands up who fell for the tiny clothes peg gag :p The lighter is normal sized

Cheers
Mark

That's a nice little build Mark!
Those little cones are a booger to get shaped and glued aren't they!:p

Job well done!
Oh, sorry, I didn't fall for it. I tried the same stunt last year!
Nice try though!

Thanks. It's difficult to put a scale to it as it's a free lance model. The main door is about 4mm high. If you take a full size door to be 4m high (twice the size of a man ?) that makes it about 1/1000 ????

I think I'd be hard pressed to make it any smaller.

These tiny builds will never cease to amaze me!... excellent work Mark.

I meant to ask Phil when I first saw this model. How in blue blazes do you guys make such nice cones! Even my attempts at large versions end up looking hideous... What's the secret???

Those cones are a bit tricky. I rolled them with the point of a tooth pick, and pinched the very tip quite tightly to get it to close up. I was pretty amazed that they come out so well.
