You are right Vermin King !
The background I used for the first photo is from Cerra Pelon Ranch/Santa Fe. This western movie town was originally built here as a set for the movie Silverado in 1985 and then was used for more than 30 other movies thereafter.

Another great creation Paskal. I fully concur with the others, the textures are very, very appealing and realistic. I must admit these buildings are not really on my usual playing ground but they're very tempting to try. Thank you very much for sharing! Looking forward to more of your creations.

Cheers,
Erik

Very nice old Western building, ideal for a Western diorama.

Western Houses

Hi
I think that your site and models are breathtaking. I love them. But I'm sure that I must be greedy because I looked for more.
Good work and good luck on future-past-present models. I will keep my eyes out for any more. Many thanks for sharing.

Western Houses Collection HO: Church

Here is the new model i created for my western houses collection HO: Church.

A small wooden church painted white, located at the end of the main street, or a little apart at the edge of the prairie...
Although fictitious, this model is based on architectural data i retrieved of this type of building from the second half of the 19th century to recreate its style.
It is the soul of the village, the place to maintain or put the settlers back on the right path, to remind civility, this at a time when the towns of the American far west were considered the antechambers of hell...

The model includes 3 sheets and about 70 parts.

Instructions and sheets are freely downloadable on my site here => Maison Western - Church
