Thumbs up

Great job on the build. Looks like a lot of repetitious work on those flying butresses. Turned out well.

Finally!! After approximately 12 days, I finished the kit. Spent the last few days doing the second tower and the facade. Today, I finished the last bits of the facade, joined the facade to the alredy built structure, glued the towers to the facade and last but not least, I built the base and glued the entire model into it.

It's my record of parts on a model, because in total, there were 812 parts over 43 pages. It's for sure the most complex model I ever did, particulary because that the butresses on this model are made of multiple parts and also there's many layering of parts that give an awesome effect when done... I demand that every experienced modelers give a shot on this model, it's totally worth the work.

To be honest, I think that this is my best outcome on a first try on a complex kit.

For those interested in building this kit, the final measures are:
Depth: 34cm(340mm)
Width: 20cm(200mm)
Max Height: 33cm(330mm)

The scale is approximately 1/500 based on calculation done on ScaleMaster program.

See you on the next build.

Cheers,
Gregory.

I downloaded the model at the early stages of your build and followed your thread browsing the PDF's simultaneously. I must say you made a very good work with this complex model. Outstanding work. This Canon Creative kit you built stands proudly with all the other Cologne Cathedral models we've seen here lately.
