Hello everybody

Now I cover the decorative gable with part A6 ... so this "tough chunk" is done in its first stage.

Attach cornices A7 and A8 ... to the gable . For the time being, do not attach any further decorations and leave the gable alone for the time being.

Sincerely
Kurt

and further ...

Now to the tower. Spant T18 is installed in the turret using auxiliary lines.

I reinforce the frame with 2mm cardboard.

Cut out the 12 "windows" and glue them to 0.4mm colored cardboard...

In the area behind the "windows" I glue cardboard with 1.5mm Finn and cut out the openings again.

Sincerely
Kurt

That's a lot of work Kurt to make those relief enhancements, but the result pays off. It makes the model so much more interesting to look at. Schuijt has published similar kits like the St. Bavo church in Haarlem and the Great Church in Rotterdam and in these models they already included reclined windows.

Hello Erik,
it takes a lot more work to refine the model, but I enjoy it. And the end result is very much improved

Hello everybody

All windows done... now glue the tower together...

... and insert and glue the frame up to the height of the window reinforcement ...

... now reinforce the lower part of the tower with 1mm cardboard.

Kind regards
Kurt

Hello, everyone ,

and further ...

I emphasize the upper border with strips of cardboard ... whereby the front center remains free , there will later be a balcony .

The false ceiling G1 is reinforced with 2.5 mm cardboard ... and glued to the tower and the porch.

A support is installed underneath.

Sincerely
Kurt

Hello everyone ,

Since the roof is a bit too short, I glue a 1mm thick cardboard gable to the front and back...

...thus the decorative gable can now be placed with a suitable distance to the front edge.

Reinforce roof K2 with 1 mm cardboard ... and glue it to the tower.

Sincerely
Kurt

and on we go...

Two buttresses, parts SL + SV, reinforced inside with several frames SV ... and left ...

... as well as attached on the right side ... The first side gable lends itself to be refined !!

Sincerely
Kurt
