Cochem Castle

At last, my new kit arrived. Unfortunately, I was unable to start on it because I had been asked by one of the National Trust properties had asked me to make some old buildings to add to their Christmas decorations.

I showed them my collection of medieval buildings and they chose a kit by Schreiber that consisted of 48 buildings. I asked "how many of them" and the quick reply was "All of them". There were 48 buildings and It was mid November. I agreed and added that I would add street lights to the village.
I managed to get it all done in time!

Very nice. All it needs now is some snow.
I do believe I have that same kit or one similar in my stack.

Thanks for the comments

The kit comes in two "editions" They are both from Schreiber. This one is the buildings and a town wall. The other is the same buildings but this time it comes with a dock with boats a small market and other bits.
I posted a thread on the second version

I remember the earlier one and your fine build of it. Wonder if these could be combined to a larger entity. This one is nicely done too and mid November needs street lights definitely.

I really like that illuminated village.

Congratulations on having the National Trust displaying your models!
