Well, as the roof assembly approach worked well on one side of the building, I used the same in the other side…
The last roof assembly glued to the model was the first that I “processed” with dormer windows and chimneys. |

The roofs have a lot of complexity. Many places where mistakes can happen.
But, the photos show the roof work went very well. Looks great. |

Amazing all these corners in the building and the roof! A spectacular model, extremely clean built. My praise to you Ricardo!

It is a very complex bulding but the hands of a master know no obstacle. Congrats! No to mention the precise design.

Thanks for the comments, friends
The last construction pictures show several things: the many window shutters (well over one hundred…), diverse tower pinnacles and rooftops. The last picture shows the pages after cutting the parts. Czech kit designers tend to squeeze as many parts as possible into each sheet. It is possible to see parts of the table surface “through” the holes on 18 superimposed sheets! Call me silly if you want but I like the challenge of cutting the parts without destroying the sheets. The remains are put inside the kit covers and stored carefully, just like the completed models… |

If you want a quick and easy assembly of an architecture subject, I suggest to look elsewhere. If you want a good challenge with a complex, detailed, time-consuming, and very well produced kit, Lesna Palace is an excellent choice! By the way, I find that the photo of a nicely assembled model on the kit cover is not as pretty as the model itself. Maybe the reason lies on the too much orange roofs in the kit cover. The kit colouring is as outstanding as the detail level. And the palace, as I stated at the beginning of the thread, is just wonderful. To my taste, at least…

Your building skill created beautiful results with this one. Nice work with all those complex roof elements. And thanks for the outstanding photos.
