Looking great Marco. Following your build I'm almost tempted to build this kit again in full colour. I like the charm of the tile roofs. Here's a map of Vatican City circa 1909 and there the Governors Palace is somewhat like in the model. The new one was built between 1927-31 and looks totally different.

Thanks, that does indeed look closer to the set-up of the model. Same with these buildings, before the train station and the Aula Paolo VI were built.

Finished!

The final buildings, including the Palace of the Holy Office. This has been an enjoyable build!

This is a really, really splendid model and beautifully done!
I love architectural models which are not chirurgically extracted from the cityscape but recreated together with all the surrounding buildings. It looks great!!!

Wow, amazingly tiny! Great patience and skill to complete this to such a satisfying quality.
Now, is anyone crazy enough to make the rest of the Vatican state?

Well, it depends on the time to be spent...
See that:

(not a paper model but an impressive life-long project of a determined modeller...)

That's an amazing project!

I'd estimate that this little model covers roughly half of the area of Vatican City. Most of the Vatican Museum and the gardens have been left out. I won't be building the rest, but I would certainly follow it!
