Hello Siwi ,
The triangle is a handle to be able to remove the cardboard plate when adjusting it. Hello to all others .... The next level...in addition to the usual refinements, I reinforce the four sheets with 1.5 mm Finn cardboard and thus achieve a beautiful 3D effect. The octagonal drum is glued. Sincerely Kurt |

Hello everyone
Parts A5...prepare first... ... and close it into a ring... to achieve an even rounding I placed a 1.5 mm thick disc with a 10.5 cm diameter on the inside of the lower tabs... ... still the round part doesn't exactly match the marking. But with the coloring of the edge the discrepancy is limited Sincerely Kurt |

Thank you Fred
And the old year continues... This is followed by the cladding of the corners of the drum... again with reinforcements and offset windows. Four bay windows... attached to the drum. Sincerely Kurt |

Putting those slices of backing card around the circular part sounds a good tip, it can be difficult to get these shapes to have uniform angles without an internal former.

Hello Siwi,
Yes, inserting the round template is important to get a correct circle. And further into the new year... Four small half domes follow, tabs are cut off. Glue with thin paper... and only after drying cut off the bottom strip. Place the small domes on the four corners. Sincerely Kurt |

And further...
Continue with the large dome, remove tabs... round well... ...glue my own tabs...and connect one segment at a time... ... so the dome slowly comes together. Sincerely Kurt |

Hello everyone
Now cut off the bottom strip, prepare the tabs...and connect the two halves... ... stick part A27 on top as a finishing touch ... Now cover the dome at the bottom ... ... and put it on the drum. Sincerely Kurt |
