Hello !

I reinforce the large roof and ceiling with 0.5 mm cardboard...so the roof is very stable!

Glued the roof onto the ceiling... and put the whole roof on.

Sincerely

Kurt

And further ............

Fourteen fireplaces follow...built together...

...and put them on the roof...put wooden balls of different sizes on toothpicks, colored them...

... and placed on the fifty-one domes in total.

Sincerely
Kurt

Day of reckoning, we're heading into the home stretch.........

I modify the 2D supports with 1.5 mm Finn cardboard... and some watercolor.

Now the greenery... and finally the tips for the dome and the minaret.

So the Tombul Mosque is finished after 88 hours of construction over 44 days of crafting.

Due to several errors in the construction, this is not a model for "Idipferlreiter" (these are people who take everything very seriously and criticize every error).
I can highly recommend the model building sheet to anyone else who has the courage to improvise.

It was really fun building this special model!
Many thanks to the surprising number of companions and the large number of likes.

Gallery pictures to follow..................

Best regards
Kurt

Congratulations Kurt. Something a bit 'different', and not an easy model with so many repetitive and small details.
