I would comment that yours is no way the least interesting, especially with the greenary you have added. Some of the others are built well, but just out of the box. It also has a pleasing composition of the elements arranged within a circular wall and base.

Thanx, out of 32 castles, my little castle ended up in a very nice 11th place. Hunting lodge Sv. Hubert (Czech Republic) Scale : 1:150 Author : O.Hejl The castle, named after the patron saint of hunters, Saint Hubert, was built by the Černín family from Chudenice at the beginning of the 18th century. A hunting park was then spread around. A one-story baroque castle with a regular octagonal floor plan and a belfry roof with a lantern was built in a place where eight intersections of a symmetrically divided field converged. During the hunts, there was a sentinel in the lantern who gave a signal by turning the weather vane through which the game had passed. Inside, there are living rooms on the first floor. The interior is decorated with hunting trophies. (source wikipedia) My model: It is a relatively small building, but it contains quite a few small details. They didn't fit the canopies above the first floor, so I printed out repair parts for the canopies joints. Otherwise it fit quite well. I cut the pinwheel out of paper and added 2 pin heads, on the second floor I added the railing that was missing from the fly screen. I added a mat with grass and trees and since it's a hunting lodge, a couple of hunters. A few photos: |

Very nice models!
I love Czech approach to the historical architectural models, and I appreciate the use of the mini-figures and plastic trees - the paper trees usually look poorly and spoil the result.
