Michaelis Church Hamburg - 1:300 - Schreiber

Hello

With my next project I have solid ground under my feet again.

The Hamburg Michel is on the agenda

There are around 300 neatly printed parts spread across thirteen A4 sheets.

As the parts are built in numbered order, there are no written assembly instructions. However, there are eight construction sketches that explain the assembly.

Kind regards,
Kurt

Hello everyone,

Now let's get started, the first cut is the deepest

Start with the base plate... which is reinforced with two 1 mm cardboards after the inner surfaces have been cut out

Part 2, cut out openings... prepare 1 mm reinforcements...

... and insert the wall niches 2a/2b from behind

Kind regards,
Kurt

And further on at the Michl construction site ....

Glue in reinforcements...this will make the walls and niches very stable

Glue the tower together...and only now insert the last strip of cardboard, so the tab is also reinforced

Now the tower can be anchored to the base plate

Kind regards,
Kurt

Hello

Now we continue with the cladding of the tower... first eight parts 3/3a...

...which are installed on the tower... this already creates a nice structure

Kind regards
Kurt

And further...

Reinforce wall sections 5/5a with 1mm cardboard and glue them step by step... leaving two holes open in the corners...
... which are closed with grey construction paper... the facade is slowly developing, exciting to build!

Kind regards,
Kurt
