Hello!
Matches are being colored... one hundred of them. Glued piece by piece to the underside of the platform... until they are all attached... ... thanks to the reinforcement, the platform has become really stable! Kind regards, Kurt |

Cool detail with all the matchsticks! Ironically for a wind turbine, I imagine you had to use combustion to dispose of the match heads.
As I've been reinforcing a model I'm working on with wood, I've been wondering about using mixed wood-and-cardstock construction methods more often. For example, on a few of Yasuaki Ninomiya's Whitewings gliders, he switched from his typical laminated cardstock fuselage technique to instead use balsa wood with cardstock face sheets. Hello Reynolds,
there are always many ways to strengthen the model, you just have to find the right one for each model! Hi to all others Fix the axle for the wind turbine and ring 38...glue strip 47 all around... ...and put the hood on. Put part 28 together... and push it through the front of the hood. Kind regards, Kurt |

That's a fast pace with this wind mill.
( This wind mill is just 40km from my house ) Leon Schuit's models are super beautiful in their simplicity. ( Have a lot of them in my collection...) I have seen models with a small motor that allows the blades to rotate, are you going to do that too? Fred

Those matches ('Luciferstokjes') add a lot of realism and interest to the model.

The two-part rotary wheel... glued together and cut out... ... and attached. In between, I cut out the railings... and glued them all around the platform. Kind regards, Kurt |
