Igor Sikorsky is my favorite designer. His most famous aircraft during WWI is the giant Ilya Murometz. However during this period he also designed some light airplanes. S-16 is the most successful of these designs. First plane is ready in 1915.

Lower Wing Span, m 8.3
Length, m 7.2
Wing area, m2 22.76

I’ll make this version. In my work I use the drawings from airwar.ru and very hard to find monograph “Sikorsky S-16 - Russian Scout”

Very nice! Igor is one of my favorites also. It was the reason I took a job at Sikorsky Aircraft (for almost 9 years). He imprint is everywhere in that factory. Most people have no knowledge of his fixed wing craft, of which he designed many.

Great choice of subject. Sikorsky had an amazing career. There is also a monograph in English on the S-16 which is still available: Flying Machines Press - SIKORSKY S-16 (http://www.paladin-press.com/product/288/89)
The New England Air Museum at Bradley Field has some nice Sikorsky exhibits including a replica S-16: S-16 pictures by felixdk - Photobucket (http://s46.photobucket.com/albums/f105/felixdk/Aviation/NEAM/S-16/)

Thanks guys! This year marks 120 years since the birth of Sikorsky (1889-1972). I think with this model, I do a little something in his honor.
@ Zathros
I envy you, my friend! Is incredible to work in this atmosphere!
@ felixdk
Thanks for the information :)
I know this monograph, but I can not find it. I found the photographs of the reply, but this is later version with Le Rhone engine. In my model I'll make 80 HP Gnome engine.
