Look great! As an FYI I wont be using the pic where the plane is on your hand ;) it makes it too easy to see how small it is.... Since you built it way below the intended scale I dont want people to think they are getting a model that small ;)

Jan, I love the DeHaviland Beaver, that is the coolest! You build so cleanly, maybe after a few more years I can come close to your skills!:)

By the way, is your printer a laser, or an inkjet? Just wondering how you get the line work so crisp!

Hi , thank you for your comment.
The Beaver is my favorite plane and I have many other Beavers to build.
My printer is an inkjet Hewllett Packard Deskjet 840c.
This is an old model but the print is very good.:)

The DGA guys located Jim's build instructions for the beaver which will be included with each beaver download from my shop. If you need a copy for old purchases you know how to find me :)

I have also acquired a small exploded diagram that will help with the p-80 and t-33.
Thanks!

Quite an extraordinary build, once again, Jan!
I really appreciate your posting photos of these builds, they are a pure delight to see.

What was the reason to choose photographic paper for this last build? Were you looking for some particular characteristic in the paper that card stock didn't provide, such as glossy finish?

Thanks again for posting your work, I LOVE them!

Do you have problems with glue sticking to the back of the photo paper?

I've printed on Office Depot brand paper and have to use a piece of sandpaper to sand off the back just to get the glue to stick.......... and it is very unreliable in the sticking.:(

Yes the photo paper is difficult to glue and very fragile.
I have used cyanocrylat glue but now I have a paper that is more easy to glue wiyh PVA glue. I also use sandpaper on the tabs and I make internal tabs.

I find it simply incredible to see such detail at such a small scale; I know a good deal of the fidelity of these builds is due to the high skill of the designer, but your ability to create such small gems obviously makes the best use of what the designer has provided. To top it all off, your photographic prowess brings it all to just another level!
