reasearch help needed for WW1 subject
WW1 is a subject i dont have much knowledge on. so any WWI aircraft buffs if you could point me in the direction of sites involving the Vickers .303. i have a lot on the water cooled ground version but need reference for the one used on aircraft of WW1.

Check out this site:
National Museum of the USAF - Home It is for the National Museum of the US Air Force. You can use their search on the right side of the webpage, or just check out these links to some aircraft which used the Vicker .303 during WWI: Factsheets : Nieuport 28 Factsheets : SPAD VII If you need it, I can swing by the museum and see if I can get some better pictures of the aircraft and the weapons. I live about 10 minutes from it.
