Have started on the foregrip and there is one part here that i think would benefit from a in depth build tutorial so here we go. The part is the corrugated cylinder. This is how i did it, first i totally dispensed with the tabs on the endcaps, then i laminated them to 1mm card then pre-creased all the folds on the skin and carefully 1 tooth (thinking of the endcaps as gears) edge glued the skin to both caps simultaneously.I think most times a stucture like this would be designed as a plain cylinder with a bunch of long boxes affixed to the surface. The way it is designed IS buildable, just takes some care.

got it backwards. the dark parts are the insides and green parts the outside, but i agree with the way i should have made it.

I think im gonna leave out the rails but i will do the bipod (folded so i can wallhang it) its gonna be just the basic stripped down military type version
