Try Krapky 1/25 Hummer - desert version
Here's my next build thread victim. If this goes together as well as their Fennek, I will be a very happy builder.

It will certainly be suitable for Army Heritage Days next May!

The colors on these Try Krapky kits always seems cartoonish to me until I start building. Here are parts 1 through 9 which make up the basic chassis. Fit was very good. I replaced the driveshafts with toothpicks to avoid rolling them. Also, I had to keep from installing them until I installed the suspension pieces that go around them both front and rear.

Thanks Chris!
Here is the next installment of parts 10 through 22. No fit issues, but it takes a little thought on how to attach a few of the parts. Part 17, the inner front fender wall, is *'d so its supposed to be reinforced, unfotunately it also has tabs to connect it to the frame. I bent the tabs up then glued the parts to heavy card I had lying around. This way I could cut around the part and leave the tabs unlaminated. Greg

Parts 23 through 32. The hood pieces around the air cleaner did not fit well for me. I had to fill the area with white glue, paint it flat white and go over the white with a pitt pen. I used the white paint pitt pen technique on the hood grabs too. I think it looks pretty close to my eye. I also had to color the rear inside fender surfaces opposite the outer body panels.
The head light lenses are clear adhesive dots found in a scrapbooking section. Everything else fit fine. Greg

Parts 33 through 40 here. I had to trim the sides of the floor/firewall piece slightly on both sides to improve the fit. I also had to trim parts of the seat for fit reasons. Additionally, the location of the dash board is vague and the drawings don't help as much as they could.
These are not real obnoxious problems to fix but they are problems. Greg
