I didn't realise that the Thompson actually DID come in a violin case, I always thought it was a Hollywood myth ....... learn something new everyday ...... who says papermodeling isn't educational too.......

I doubt that Thompson (or latterly Colt) actually supplied them like this, but it is a superbly constructed set ain't it ! If I do get around to making a model chopper, I will be sorely tempted to display it like this.

The front hand grip shouldn't be too difficult to form , but can anyone suggest a source for the Snaildrum magazines?
