German halftrack help
i wasnt sure where to put this so i put it in the Armory since it pertains to an armored vehicle....this is actually a cry for help. I am trying to build a German halftrack and i am having a devil of a time with the wheels that go in the treads...they simply arent thick enough i have tried both the Paper Tiger Armaments and the Exclusive Models track with no luck on ether one the wheels are just too thin to put the treads on and i have followed the insturctions as best as i can on both of them can anyone please help?

T,
you have to use the thin corrugated backed spacers as described in the directions (or trimmed scrap-booking adhesive foam). this photo shows the tracks and spacers "naked". when assembled and edge paint detailed, they should look something like this; i hope this helps! cheers.

I have found that "foamie" 2mm foam sheets found in craft stores, are easily adaptable for wheels. They come in many colors, and the black makes good tires.
