FG WWI tanks in 1/35 scale

I wanted to build all of these to the same scale to show the relative size and match the few plastic tanks I've built over the years. Rescaling was easy for the Renault and the A7V but the MK IV ends up being larger than a single sheet of paper and I had to splice parts of the hull and sponsons. I really enjoyed building these and can't wait to see the Whippet.

I've never been much of a Tank guy, but those look cool enough that I might just try building one.

For a first tank build, is any one easier than the other?

All of them are very easy. If I had to pick the easiest it would be the A7V as it's basically a box with some treads underneath. Just be careful when building the track runs not to build in a twist and you'll be fine with any of them.

I have built the FG Panzer III. It was the first tank they had. I built it a couple of times to practice layering details. Great kit to start out with.
