Another customer for a Char b

I'd love to get my hands on a paper Char B I would re-scale to 1/100 for Flames of War though.

While we are at it Somua & R39 too?

There was a discussion about French armor a few years ago:
Looking for French Armored Vehicles from WWII

Small scale Char B1, Somua and R39 papermodels are just not available.
I play wargames with 1/72 scale armor.
Consequently, I have spent a lot of time looking for 1/72 scale French papermodels.

A small scale Char B1 was designed, see:

However, as I remember, the designer was not satisfied with the turret and never released the model.

World of Tanks has 3 Char B1 bis and B2 Pz 740(f) models on their website in 1:50 scale. I've built the Pz 740(f) and it comes out very well although I remember some parts were fairly challenging. There's also a Renault NC in 1:50 on that page.

There's also a Renault FT (anti-tank) prototype and Renault NC-31 on this page:

There's a 1:72 Somua S35 at Somua S35 | 箱之工房

There's also a 1:72 Char B1 bis on this site Renault B1bis | 箱之工房

The only Char 2C I've seen is Modelik's 1:25 monster. I don't think there are models of the Hotchkiss R35, Renault R39 or FCM light tanks

Charlie

Just outside your timeframe but definitely influenced by the Char B1 design is ARL-44. Tinchik has a 1:50 model with a number of turret options:

And I meant Hotchkiss H35 ...

Do a search for Paperarmy and you'll find simple but reasonably accurate models with somewhat stylized graphics (like cell-shaded animation).

Most likely you'll end up at a PInterest or YouTube webpage which is confusing as hell to download from, so I recommend you use 'paperarmy archive.org' as search terms, then click on the 'paper army' link under the name of any model that comes up. This takes you to the Paperarmy archive main directory, which is usually behind on the releases but is a lot easier to access, in many graphic formats.

In addition to the many WW2 tanks, trucks and artillery there's a Renault R35 and Char B1 Bis included in early WW2 stuff. I don't think the scale is consistent, but nothing any image editor can't fix.
