Smaller scale tanks!

Hello folks

I'm pretty new here, but I have a question or two. First, I'm a gamer, then a modeler and not very good at the later but I'm trying.

I was wondering, for those of you who build smaller scale, what's the smallest scale you can make without scarificing too much detail AND how long does it take you to spit out a small scale model?

Any tips/hints/tricks is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!

I'm thinking 1/100 and smaller, if possible

1/160 (N scale)works up pretty good.
The figures here are a little smaller than .5 inch.

Just adjust your printer.

1/100 is as small a tank as I've ever built. At that scale, there is still reasonable detail. I'm a slow builder, but I'm sure that many modelers could turn out a 1/100 Rawen and Paran tank in one sitting.

Here you can see 1/100 tanks and download them too. They're by Paran and Raven and all you have to do is scale them smaler in your printer and start building. :D

I don't know about tanks, but Paran and Rawen also have a bunch of 1/250 models. I just don't have the link in front of me. I'm not sure I saved it, because after looking, I decided they were too small for my skills ...

@ Vermin_King

Tapcho, in the above reply, got me the link to their site. That's what I'm looking for.

I figure, for world war 2 tanks they do not have, I can find those elsewhere and shrink to size

Rawen's older site is Papírové modely

At one time he was also posting at www.minibox.webz.cz - papírové modely v měřítku 1:100

I really like some of the models with the mini-dioramas. I'm a sucker for bonus models...
