Diameter and length of launch tube, if you can?

Also, the warhead flies? How did you make it do that? That sounds like fun!

Hm, if you print it on letter paper at 100%, the diameter should be 50mm, and 760mm long.

The funny thing about the warhead is that I didn't even have to add ballast! My guess would have to be that the warhead's football shape has something to do with its"flying capabilities"

I'm in business! I've got the rolled tube just slightly under the required diameter and more than enough length! Thank you for the dimensions!

Can't wait to build this one! I'll use the patterns to make it out of PVC and clear plastic or styrene.

Quite interesting project and very well done!
Just a tiny correction: The last sentence of the instruction text should be in two lines like this:

Die Pappkappe am Rohrende
bleibt beim Abschuß aufgesetzt.

(Do not remove the cardboard capsule when firing.)

Kind regards,
Papercaptain

So, what does that mean? Was part of the Pfaust actually made from cardboard?

Yes. The rear cap of the firing tube was indeed made of cardboard, since it flew off in the firing. Cardboard is cheap an easy, and since panzerfausts are one-use throw away weapons(although tubes were collected to be rearmed) cardboard makes sense, especially since Germany was quite low on materials.

EDIT: i frogot to mention, the cardboard cap was to keep dirt out.

Aufsetzen is "to put on", or to attach. I forgot that it was in the past tense, so I wrote "aufsetzt" instead.

I checked the translation of panzerfaust which means, "bazooka" of course. But, when I translated the words separately I got, "tank fist." Looking further, I can see faust is a form of the word fausten, which means "punch." So, "Tank Punch," literally. Though, in German, I imagine the meaning is closer to "knock the crap out of a tank."

Makes sense to me.
