At last an update and the penultimate one

the elevation cylinder

and with the rest of its fittings and mounting frame.

and fixed in place in the basket.

not sure but this is the traverse motor/controller

the basket surrounds I painted on the back before cutting out circles but the book punch cuts with a twisting action and started to rip the card so painted the part. front and back with some dope which stoped the riping. I did some holes every so often from the start but still had half to do be for cutting it out.

shaped and ready to fit.

the final bit of gun control mechanism this was the worst part to fit as the only to fix it in place was thrue the hatch.

the finish basket from the outside.

that's it all finished except a scrats built bucket used a spare barrel part for the bucket and them painted on d-day dodgers on it which the troops in Italy were nicknamed after a comment by lady aster. despite the fact, the 8th army had already done three-d-days landing on Sicily and Salerno and anizo.
someone wrote a song set to the tune of lily Marlane. her is a link to the skrodey version by the Canadian Seaforth highlanders contains strong langes

D-Day Dodgers of Canada — Seaforth Highlanders

that's all just some finished pics to post.

Congratulations on finishing one of the most difficult offerings from Halinski! It must have been quite a journey, even simply watching you go along.

What patience you have, taking 8+ years to complete this magnificently detailed model. Thank you very much for inviting us along on this journey.

Congratulations!
