Halinski Wespe build
After a long and just plain lazy absence from modeling I decided to get back to it with this Wespe build. i was suppose to build a Karl Great along with John but I really don't want to steal his thunder Plus this just looked like a nice build to do. I will start I think by getting go going on the tracks and ease back into the pool. Here goes nothing will post some progress soon.

Thanks John do you or anybody have any tips on building nice tracks. This is my first attempt at building them from scratch. Man they are tough!

Took a brake from the treads and decided to build the breach block. These are some picks of the start. This is my first Halinski build and the detail is just amazing. The breach block alone is 37 pieces!

That is a detailed breach block. It looks as if you are off to a great start. I look forward to seeing more of this model.
A side note: The Field Artillery Museum obtained a Wespe in 2011 that is being restored. Jeff |
