Grade 'A' work! Parts look like cast metal. The good finish of parts wonder me.

And one question (somewhat not related): there is an old tank on display in my city in front of an armor devision enterance. Tracks, sprockets and bogies are similar to those of Sherman, hull is flat like a box and turret has a long overhang to the rear. Overal shape resemble to a Sherman. Do any one know what type is it?
Excuse me I can not take photo, there is a 'no photo' military region.

Naser80my friend, I hope this above is sufficiently similar to the vehicle you describe.

It is an M36 "Jackson" (informally known as "Slugger") Tank Destroyer, an American design based on a Sherman M4 Medium Tank chassis.
There is a similar vehicle called an M10 "Wolverine", and the British version of the M10, known as M10 "Achilles". All three date from roughly mid-1943, during WW2.

Apart from the size of the main armament and the dimensions of the turret counterweight at the rear of the turret all three afvs look visually very similar, so I'm guessing the vehicle to be one of the three above.

I hope the pictures help you identify the vehicle you describe and have seen.

Kind and Respectful Regards Naser80, Uyraell.

Thank you Uyraell, Yes, It's EXACTLY!

I think that tank is American made (most military equipment of Iran before 1979 revolution was US built).
This archaic machine alongside M60s and Chieftains served against Iraqis during 1980-88 war.
Johnny7, excuse me for side question in your thread.

Progres after a long time. It if very difficult model to build it "clean" without repanting. Most dissapointing for me is turret - despite of three measuring with spare parts printed from copy it is awful. Nevermind, whole turret will be covered with camouflage net. I tried to do my bets at details - there is a lot to improve and almost every detail on turret is upgraded, or adjusted.

Machine gun was very simple, so i tried do do some improvements as well.
