There are many book written about tanks of E-series and at the same time, we know very little about them. The authors published copy from each other little information, excites our imagination.
I know of three more or less decent works about tank E-100. These are:

"By the end of World War II progressed the farthest work on the tank E-100. Development of a design and construction of the prototype were conducted at the firm of Adler Frankfurt am Main. Design Tank E-100 has already started July 30, 1943. An incomplete prototype was captured by British troops in Paderborn. In June 1945 the E-100 was sent to Britain for extensive testing.
Work on the tank class "E" has given a lot of new technological discoveries, which, however, have found practical application only in the 60s during the construction of tanks for the Bundeswehr. As mentioned previously, an acute shortage of raw materials made even a small release of a series of such tanks is very problematic.
