There seems to be a visual similarity to this Ford chassis and the Chevrolet C15 in Canadian markings that is offered by WAK, which is also by Mariusz Kita.
New models in WAK offer - Chevrolet C15A (Cab 13) & Pfalz E.I

Perhaps it is just that British Commonwealth 15 cwt trucks had a generally similar appearance?

Don,
That was exactly the same truck produced either by Ford (F15) or Chevrolet (C15).

There were built to the CMP (Canadian Military Pattern) by the respective manufacturers, so other then drivetrains and some trim pieces they were identical. Can't believe I know something about a military vehicle that you don't since you are some knowledgeable on most, Mr. Boose.

See Mr. Krol beat to the reply. How about an F8 version? Hint, hint, hint

Many thanks Mike and Wayne. The depths of my ignorance of Commonwealth military vehicles have yet to be plumbed (as CharlieC well knows, he having patiently corrected my errors for years).

In any event (and apologies for taking up space in your thread, Tim, but it's somewhat relevant), if they are essentially the same vehicle, then this excellent thread and the parallel one being performed by Greg, should be useful -- at least up to a point -- to someone building the WAK C15 model. Ain't?

Started to add bits to the chassis:

Found part 14 a bit too short. Added a center section of card and cut out a slot in parts 13P & 13L

Makes for a more secure attachment too.

One minor grip Parts 23 are slightly out of alignment, horizontally. Makes them a bit awkward to cut out

Apart from that build going well. One step at a time.

Minor grip, but unnecessarily complicates build - fixed.

Great work on the chassis, Tim. Your usual high standard of precision!

It's great to see the interaction between you and Mike, with the iterative improvements to the model as you discover and deal with the little glitches.

I really like the look of the British and Canadian 15 cwt trucks.

When I first got to Korea in 1962, there were still a few of these on the roads, left behind by the Commonwealth Division. There is something about the pugnacious stubbiness of the chassis and the angles of the hood (bonnet) that really appeal to me.

Adding more bits to the chassis:

There is too much white on parts 26E. I would colour the whole part and remove the horizontal black bar.

Soaked the suspension mounts in super-glue to harden them up.
