GreMir Models, CMT Ford F15A, 1:25 Scale

I was one of the gentlemen fortunate enough to be chosen, to carry out a test build on this model.

This model is my first experience using the GreMir ‘system’ for down down-loading and printing out. Seems to work very well – no problems at all. It works far quicker than Acrobat.

The kit itself consists of 11 sheets of parts and 7 pages of assembly diagrams.

Got to go to work now - stressing CWR at Kenton in London. Back in the morning, will start building then.

Tim

I'll be following this one closely, Tim.

Do you know if Mike plans to offer it in Allied markings as well?

Don,
I already asked Mariusz the same question and the answer was "not in the foreseable future".
But he also told me that he is working on a brand new Allied vehicle

Would really like to see that with the closed cab and in Allied markings, but still interested. Can always do some modifying.

Tim, I am bulding the WAK Chevy version. It will be interesting to see how this one goes together.

Finally made some progress:

Took me three goes. Gave up on the instructions of using a laminate of 0.5mm card.
Ended up using 1mm grey card. It made for a far more sturdy contruction.

A good beginning and a useful technique for laminating long straight shapes.

Noted.
I'm making changes to the model as both you and Greg are building it so the offered model will be much more "builder friendly" for everybody.
