This is coming along beautifully. You are doing a FANTASTIC job on it.
I am working on the same model over at Zealot. Unfortunately, I have not made as much progress as you have though.
I will be following this thread closely.

A bunch o' progress to report:

The engine is decent as long as you aren't expecting valve covers and intake/carb parts. These parts are not seen on the finished model, so I'm not missing them. Oh sequence of part 61 is off. It needs to be installed after part 65, otherwise the belt can't be fitted right. I ought to know, I had to install a new one after I realized the mistake.

Trans-axle is nice and fits well. drivelines are ok but I found part 54 too short and made a new one with a piece of toothpick.

I really like the fit of the tire parts. As usual, I had to paint them to improve finished appearance, but this was by choice and not necessity.

Enjoy

Greg

I added comment on the drawing - don't want to mess up everything while trying to re-number the parts...

Is it possible that you rolled part 54 the wrong way and this was the result? before I start fixing this I would like to make sure that I don't create 'bigger" problem

I took a look at the parts layout and don't think I rolled it the wrong way. If I had, I think it would have been too long and too skinny. Good thought though and would have been nice if I was wrong on this one. I just don't think I am. Maybe wait until Tim or Raaven get to this point to see if they have the same trouble before doing anything with the part?

The chassis, suspension, and drive train look very good, Greg, and the wheels are terrific.

I really like the look of this vehicle and admire the skill with which you have assembled it.

I am also enjoying the infield chatter among you, Tim, and Mike.

It sure would be nice if you could make it to Sterling in October so I could see it close up and personal.

As much as I'd like to be there Don, I just don't think I'm going to be able to make it to Sterling.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Greg

Starting to look like a truck!

Those tyres look great - painting them really helps.
