Rolls-Royce Armored car

Inspired by several articles here in this forum I started almost one year ago modelling the Rolls Royce AC in 1/72 scale for a proposed diorama playing 1940/1941 in North Africa.
Some parts for my models I found here:
Der Kampfflieger 1/48 Rolls Royce Armored Car
1/48 and 1/72 Rolls Royce Armored Car Green 1 Paper Model
1/48 Rolls Royce Pattern 1920 AC Slievenamon recolour
These are more articles here on this forum which were a great help:
1/48 Rolls Royce Pattern 1920 AC
Rolls Royce Armored Car - 1/48 Kampfflieger
1/48 Rolls Royce Armored Car
But most of the parts had to be build by scratch. especially as I wanted to have two variants of the AC, a more "traditional" one and a modernized one with a Frazer-Nash-turret.

Here I show you my models: most of the work is done allready, some additional ammunition magazines for the Bren MG and the Boys AT Rifle of the modernized version are still missing. All the rivets are also missing and of course the models have to be painted.

Rolls-Royce Armored car

I have built the Vickers MG in the turret of the older version from plastic using a figure of my plastic soldiers as guide line.

The Bren MG and the Boys AT rifle for the Fraser-Nash-turret are white metal pieces from SHQ, the mortar in this turret was build by using plastic parts while the tube of the mortar was made from thin cigarette paper.

The boxes were built with card board.

Really nice work in the smaller scale. I'm not sure my fingers could deal with the details you are including

Thank you

@ whulsey , Vermin_King and elliott

thank you for your Kind words. I will update this thread from time to time, but please be patient as I am concentrating on the BEF Mathildas (building) and on the Loyd Carrier(designing). And the ammunition trailer for my Italien L3 light tanks ist still not available - so much to do and only 24 hour a day!

Greetings Harry

Good work, Harry. I really appreciate the bibliography of threads and models. That takes a lot of work, but is very valuable for anyone wishing to pursue this armored car. Many thanks for sharing the results of your research. Excellent model, too.

Don
