That is pretty brilliant.I read Finns used those as much as Russians but I've never seen any pictures of them, never mind paper model of one.Hopefully it will end up for sale somewhere.

Finally the sled is finished
Finally the sled is finished.
I found photos of the Siemens Halske SH-12 motor of the Finnish sled. Can I start making 3D drawings of this engine.

I am new to this site and it appears you are building stick models which look very nice. I build 1/35 plastics and am currently working on a Trumpeter NKL-16/41 and have been doing some serious hunts for what the interior of the vehicle was really like as the model I am working on sorley lacks an interior of any detail. Your interior looks good from the information I have found. The few pictures of the actual vehicle I have found indicate to me the interior was painted white like the exterior but that is based on only two shots. This is sad because I am certain the Russians have at least one of these in a museum someplace and pictures could be obtained.
Do you have any links to information on the originals? Also, it appears the control panel seems to vary from vehicle to vehicle, I have decided to use a very clear one I have from a 16/42 for the one I am doing for lack of a good clear one of the 16/41, artistic license. |
