Thanks. Work continues with turret interior finished. Here I found many mistakes in the design, which are obvious in the photos. Next I'll demonstrated the gun, which I already started working on.

Thanks. Actually, I'd like the detail level to be a bit higher. Many of the wiring, tubing and other devices in the turret are missing when comparing to period interior pictures.

8.8 cm KwK 36 L/56 gun.

Coming along fast.
Nice work on this. I have this model but have never built it. It was actually the first printed card model I bought.

I'll be saving this thread for reference!

Great build. I don't think i'm alone in not spotting any 'mistakes'

Can't wait for the next post.

WOW!!!!! Very impressive!!!!

I've spent my last 20+ years in the military around artillery and tanks. The detail you've put into this is incredible!!!
...almost feel like dropping the breach open and slamming in a round!

Keep up the good work!!!

WOW!!! That's simply insane! Thanks for sharing this with us. What a difference from the technology of WW1. I was just looking at Charlie`s build once again. I still can`t imagine spending a war inside one of these!

This Halinski Tiger build is outstanding - thanks for sharing it.

Wait until I get to the St Chamond if you want primitive. The attitude to the crews back in WW1 was really medieval - in the Mark V tank an internal fan was finally installed - not for the crew but to improve the engine cooling - it had the side effect of improving the operating conditions for the crew.

Regards,

Charlie

I bought the Tamiya version when it was about $14.00 and I complained about the price. It cost over three times as much now. Looking at this build, it compares in details with the Tamiya model, But is more forgiving than plastic version in the build process.
