Oh, Kevin, there is still plenty to show I have completed only two thirds of a model. Turret itself is a project on its own.

Halinski kits are relatively expensive but as it takes so much time to build up all the included details and different parts, they actually become very cheap in terms of $$$ per part.

Something tells me that this model is very, very cheap in that respect. You must be a very patient man Igor, despite your dislike for repetitive parts. Join the club I would say; I'm a member too.

Your work is absolutely impeccable!

Erik

I really really appreciate your feedback, guys!

Erik, you are right

Sometimes i fеаl uncomfortable, that i spread this build for a couple of years. I understand that it is difficult to follow so much time after one build... You probably already forgot what i did in the beginning, I defiantly did
But i like to do it in my own pace and not too push it when i can not.

Wow, Igor. It is two years too!

Well, all I can say is that the time has flown for me.

And the kit has certainly been good value - not only has it kept you busy, but it has also kept me entertained too!

And, I remain in awe of your skills and patience!!

[QUOTE=Igor;

Wheels are attached to bogies.
Suspension is ready!

Remained to connect those already prepared links in a chain...
Stay tuned![/QUOTE]

only thing missing on the bogies are the casting marks.

Great work Igor

Isaac

Thanks Kevin and Isaac.

Before i continue i want to add to the last step - you must pay attention when you assembling wheel disks. There is rear and front. Front is with drawn housings and bolts. Also, when wheels attached to chaises put it with front outside.

Now, back to the links.
If you follow my thread from the beginning, you know that first of all i assembled links, because i decided that this is the hardest part in this model.
So now all the remained is to to connect them in a chain. Two track pads joined by one end connector each side.

and more...

and a little bit more...

Done

Dressed it on chaises and connected together.

The fact that i left idler wheels not glued help me to stretch chains as i wish, like on a real thing. Then i fixed it in desired position.

I can confirm that you need only 81 links for each side

And... a little surprise. Suspension is live! Works like on a real things. I could do this due to specific design of Sherman bogies.

It is the end of another stage in this model and end of two years of building.

Thanks for following and stay tuned
