F. Scott - You continue to expand my knowledge. Many thanks. I am glad to know about the Mack locomotives (especially the BRs with the AC Bulldog hoods!). Wayne - Always glad to have you on board. Thanks to the person who pointed to the Detroit Public Library image collection.
I found a couple of images of the Holt Mark VII tractor caisson (a very rare vehicle) under test as a cargo carrier. I had seen reference that the Mark VII was modified and tested in various configurations but had never seen any images of the test vehicles. Regards, Charlie

Yes. That Detroit Public Library collection has a LOT of excellent images of all kinds of turn-of-the-last-century motor vehicles. Many thanks to F. Scott for letting us know about that resource.

Don, I guess we could entertain each other as we fell into the abyss of expelled papermodelers' members if commenting on history was an offence which resulted in excommunication.
While this thread is wandering all over the landscape... Andrei Romanchuk has been busy designing and has a couple of 1:43 truck models labelled Drandulette JH and JL. I've no idea, and neither does web search, whether Drandulette was real type of truck or any details about them. Anyone know?
