Makes sense to me - Andrei lives (or used to live) in Kharkov. Probably not a smart idea to design models of Russian vehicles if you live in Eastern Ukraine.

The early GAZ trucks were Ford designs anyway.

I'm glad to know about those truck models, Charlie. Many thanks for posting the links.

Should have put 'certainly' rather than 'possibly'.
Describing it as the Ursus A the little down arrow at
Exclusive Models - free paper modelsExclusive Models - free paper models
Leads to a 1/72 detailed vector drawing and model of this truck.
Might interest those wanting more detail.

While this thread is wandering all over the landscape...

Andrei Romanchuk has been busy designing and has a couple of 1:43 truck models labelled Drandulette JH and JL. I've no idea, and neither does web search, whether Drandulette was real type of truck or any details about them. Anyone know?

Here are the download links:

I think they are public access so you don't have to be signed up for VK to access the models.

Regards,

Charlie
Those trucks are fictional "joke" builds based on the Zis-8 truck design.

This thread discusses the build > Drandulette Type J - Модели из бумаги и картона своими руками - Форум

Early Mack Type 2

I have a few pamphlets and books specific to this vintage Mack. When I return home this weekend I will look & share what I have.

Cheers
Rick
