Once again, thanks for your help. "Hullbox" is done, today I designed and installed the last part of it. Running gear will be the next stage of the project.

Very impressive design and assembly. You've really knocked it out of the park. Excellent!

Thanks, Don!
Here's the new update. Wheels. It's always fun and easy to design them but putting them together later, from parts, is the most repetitive, tiring stage of every tracked vehicle.

The Sentinel used the same drive sprocket as the M3 Medium tank (Grant/Lee).
This was designed to drive the track via the extensions of the track pins unlike most other sprockets which engaged slots in the track elements. The sprockets on the Grant/Lee/Sentinel are a unique shape and very distinctive. I've dug out some images and 1;25 parts scan from a hard copy Grant model I have in my stash. A website article said the cast numbers for the hull were usually ground off so that the spare track links would sit flush against the hull - explains why the numbers were ground off in the Littlefield/Cairns example. Charlie, should I read the part about the sprocket wheel just as an additional information or as a suggestion for some changes too? If it's also a suggestion for me, to change something in the sprocket wheels, I'll say: there won't be any significant changes(I'll do some minor redesigning anyway because they're actually a bit too wide; the tracks would not fit properly. However, as I say, the changes will be minor.). I'm working with two different drawings and almost 70 photos of Sentinel and its details. In 1/50 scale I have to find that perfect balance to make the model both enjoyable in building, and detailed as much as possible. In short, I want to achieve the same final result as in my previous tank project, Romanian Pz.38(t).
Anyway, today there's no WIP update. I have to design the bogies and some other parts first. But... As I've decided to write something, I'll post some photos and reveal some vehicles that will be my 1/50 projects somewhere in the future. Let's start with photos. I'm posting those two drawings I mentioned and two photos of my 1/50 collection. So far, I've got 10 vehicles. 1. Kaengsaeng 68 2. Israel Police Ford Fairmont 3. Chevrolet CUCV M1009 (Argentine Army) 4. Hitler's Mercedes-Benz 770K (W150) 5. IDF Dodge WC-51 Mortar Carrier (Six-Day War 1967) 6. Fiat 626 (Royal Italian Army) 7. Egyptian BRDM-2 (Six-Day War 1967) 8. M3A1 Stuart (Cuban Revolution) 9. Renault FT (Kuomintang) 10. Romanian Panzer 38(t) (T-38) There's also an M1978 Koksan, but it's still not finished. Maybe I'll go back to it when I finish the Sentinel, who knows. These 1/50 scale models are either my repaints & modifications of various free 1/100, 1/50, 1/72 or 1/87 kits or entirely my own designs, like the Hitler's 770K. Sentinel will be my second design, but first made also for sale. Hitler's 770K was rather a scratch project. It was not intended to be published so there was a huge mess with parts, but as some people asked me to publish these parts, I published them for free, here in our downloads section. Ok, now let's get to the list. Probably it will be incomplete because there are way too many vehicles I'd like to have and probably I'll find some more because there's still a lot to discover. Tiger I AIL M325 Toyota Su-Ki Type 98 Shi-Ke Nissan 180 Truck T-62 Type 3 Ho-Ni III Type 3 Chi-Nu Type 95 Ha-Go Thai Type 76 SPAAG Nahuel DL-43 DGME Nandu ZIL-157 Ford GTB Burma Jeep LVT Finnish KV-1 Finnish T-34/85 Egyptian GAZ-69 Egyptian IS-3 Land Rover (Aden Emergency 1963-1967) Churchill Mk.III ZIS-5 GAZ-67 Australian White M3 Scout Car Irish A34 Comet JFK's Lincoln Continental US Army GMC COE M4 Sherman (Chinese, Canadian or USMC) Australian Matilda New Zealand Valentine BTR-60 BTR-152 Laffly V15 Peugeot 202 Kubelwagen Australian Willys MB Mobile Cinema Isuzu Type 97 Cuban UAZ-469 Argentine M9 Half-Track USMC M422 Mighty Mite More I can't remember. But these above are the subjects that are going around in my head.

The model is still in development, and I guess it won't be available anywhere for a pretty long time. The project stopped where I left it and it waits for the better times. Right now, I'm way too busy to continue my work on this tank.
