I continued by completing and adjusting Watertanks for cooling i pressume and transmission?
Please apologize my technical english, i am not an engineer, nor technician to know parts of this truck... On first photo you can see first part (Nr. 26) i had to recreate by scratch. I can provide PDF, if somebody is interested. On photo is also prototype, which i tried to create just by hand. On second picture is final result made from my PC created scratch parts. |

Front axle. I had a few problem with part Nr. 30d, so i created my own one in Rhinoceros. Nr. 32 i replaced fully with spare parts from my second copy of model. Part Nr. 29 should be completed from paper, but i replaced it whole with adjusted 1mm wire. Just to mention. 99% of model i will paint with acrylic Revell Revell 46 Nato-Oliv.

looking good. but not sure how your nice detailed scratch parts are going to sit with the less detailed flat print detail of the model.

Finished front axle and adjusted cable. Then I adjusted tread plate. My fellow modeler tatra813 from slovak forum helped me and made me one lasercut A5 sheet.
Adjusting rear axle was very time consuming, and just part 40 (be careful, it is supposed to be assymetrical, as both parts are marked as left and right, but are the same) took me two days. I sliced it to three separate parts (neccessary to have at least two copies) and then carefully connectec it back again with 1mm brass wire I focused mainly to suport the whole part with cardboard as much as possible. |
