Nice work. Those tires must have required some time to assemble.
Looks like spring is arriving late here also.

Thanks Mike! Spring is late and it's snowing here for three days. The tires were not that difficult to build I just had moments of frustration not being able to build/form the sides rounded as I'd hoped. Tried every trick I had and had to settle with these. Thos will be weathered pretty heavily so maybe that eventually distracts my eyes. Now ill prepare all powertrains to get the whels in place.

I'm getting slow or I have too many things going on at the same time. Anyways, both rear powertrains done and on with the front ones. Those are more complicated due steering linkage and what not.

Now tha I've finnished The Windsor Castle I needed something different. I choosed to return to my Panhard build. It's relaxing in the way that the fit is perfect and assembly instructions are so clear.

In April I got the rear powertrains ready and now I needed the front ones done in order to get the critter on wheels.

Many parts, lots of laminating and cutting but I enjoy this for now. Two evenings work and I've made nine sub-assemblies for the left front powertrain and suspension and I still have 1/3 of the parts to cut. I like the model but I must confess this a tad overly engineered. Most of the details are escaping the eye when in place but you know that they are there. And you know that you pretty much built this vehicle like it was built in the factory.
