This is interesting.
I hear it has new "Non-Reactive Armor".
The kind where the AT round goes right thru the tank, leaving a hole no bigger than the rounds bore size, thereby reducing the damage to the tank's insides. : )

I don't think that tank is made of cardboard. I think they used corrugated plastic sheets. Same idea as corrugated card but much more durable.

Biggest paper tank I've seen was presented years ago on Konradus forum. It was enlarged T-34/85 from Maly Modelarz to I think about 1:5 scale. It was about the size of a tiny car and made of corrugated paper, pizza boxes, shoe boxes etc. Guy put a lot of effort into it.

Perhaps you are right, it would give the "armour" much more rigidity plus water resistance.

I have often wondered about the possibilities of coroplast for "card modeling".
Now we see....

During WWII the Allies used inflatable tanks as decoys. In today's world corrugated cardboard would be a good substitute. You could use a few hundred dollars worth of cardboard to draw fire from a several thousand dollar missile. War is as much a financial transaction as anything.
