World of paper tanks site.
While reading the thread on the current wopt model in this section I wondered how long it has been since a new model was released, obviously folk over there have other things to think about right now. Searched the web, nada.
In the search results was something I found to be quite naive and rather optimistic but, have a look and inform your own opinion. Toilet paper that builds toilets | Who Gives A Crap UK Some folk have more than money it seems, a lot more. |

Yes it seems you are right Mike.
the lastest modeles are from 2021. Some of the old ones have been modified or improved (second front) but no real novelties. Regarding the toilet paper, indeed, very strange name... Here, in France, we have a wine called "Vin de Merde" (shit wine)... Good wine which is selling well. How marketing works miracles....

I was able to find news online which mentioned the parent company (Wargaming) divesting itself of the Russian and Belorussian stidio's who are now trading under another brand name.
I think it will be a long time before this situation clears up sadly. Anyone heard from Maxim lately? I hope all these folk (And their families) are safe. |

I found the following notice on Dimon Sotnikov's (Tinchik) VK page date 5 July 2021 - may explain some of the happenings in WoT.:
"A tragic and terrible event in the life of our community and all paper modeling. Andrey Kukiza, the author of 3D models for our brochures and one of the key developers of the World of Paper Tanks project, has died. Andrey devoted more than 8 years to the project, took part in the release of almost 150 brochures with models. His designs have sold millions of copies around the world. Our condolences to Andrew's family and friends. He will be remembered by many. Rest in peace." Charlie |
